To say the boys were excited about the bunks is a misuse of the word excited. It took some time and patience but they are here and the boys are loving their"new" room!
Getting settled in the night between the take-down and the put-up
The new bunk beds are in! I took a bunch of pictures of the boys exploring them but every one is blurry because they were just flying around. Both have mastered the ladder - Casey got out of bed about 6 times the first night with a big smirk on his face. Both boys picked out their own new comforters, Casey's is all numbers and Sam's is the goofy animals. Both look great on the bunks and with the walls.
Thanks to Jack and Judy for the truck, Donna, Jerry and Christopher for the beds, IKEA for the comforters, and Dan for the muscle to get them assembled. This is a pretty heavy set so next time these bunks move will be when the movers do it! I don't see why the boys can sleep in these until Casey goes to college :)
