It's puppy - and he says it all the time, so one could argue that it doesn't count. But he is very consistent about saying it when he sees Obie. Unlike "mama" which he babbles constantly but never in my direction, or "baby" which seems to be the word he uses to refer to everything else. So, we've got a word. And we have some unassisted standing, but no actual walking yet. And we also have this new thing where the big fancy tray on the high chair is such a burden, acting only as a barrier for Casey to eat the way he prefers, with his feet up.

I hardly have to mention the new obsession with his tongue - he can roll it in ways neither of us can - must be a recessive gene. Have a great (short!) week!
