Honors

Both boys have been eagerly waiting their turn for their special week at school.  And it has taken all school year!  At Sam's school, every Thursday a name is drawn to determine who the "Star Student" is the next week.  Which means, part of our ride home every Thursday is hearing about who it will be and some concern that it will never be him.
In Casey's class, each Friday a name is drawn to determine who will be the "Top Banana" for the following week.  This means that part of every Friday walk home is the discouraged "I'm not Top Banana yet mom."
So, you can imagine the excitement - last Thursday Sam's name was picked!  And then, naturally, on Friday, Casey's name was picked!  So this week, after hustling to make 2 different posters, Jeff and I have the special honor of living with not only a Star Student but also a Top Banana.  What are the chances of that?  (Seriously, mom?)
