We are a little behind over here....

My camera is no longer with us
Since a sandy beach incident while vacationing on the shores of Michigan Lake, the family camera has called it quits.  Therefore there are not any photos to share. Boo.

Casey's Lost a Tooth!
One evening a while back Casey announced he had a loose tooth.  After some investigation we agreed that it was in fact, loose.  The next morning, this tooth was out!  We really thought we had more time to prepare!  Casey thought the tooth fairy might bring him his own Angry Birds game so he didn't have to share with Dad.  Uh, nope, the Tooth Fairy does not bring children iPhones.  He did seem quite pleased with his $2 in the morning.  There is a photo of this event on the iPhone and I will try to remember to share it sometime soon!

Jeff and Bridget's Anniversary
We celebrated 15 years of wedded bliss on July 26 - but this past weekend we had the hall and the DJ and good pals and had a nice little shindig.  We were the only people at the party that were at our wedding, which was sort of the point.  We moved to Detroit right after our first anniversary - we have 14 years here and all kinds of neat people in our life.  And none of them were at our wedding!  Luckily we hired a photographer for this event so there will be some photos of this soon.

Sam is Potty Training!
School stars the second week of September and our schedule is a little dicey between now and then.  So we are just going for it.  Today is day 3 and he has had a total of 3 accidents, none since yesterday morning.  He is on his third sticker chart already so has earned his Toy Story basketball and pink soccer ball.  If this is actually this easy, you can be looking for my book "Wait Until They Ask: Potty Training Your 3.25 year Old".  I can't imagine it will go this easy though.... we shall see.  We do need to capture this moment in time for future embarrassment so we will try to do that with the iPhone later today perhaps :)

Thanks for checking in - we will resolve this camera issue somehow and get back to normal soon!
