Well, this is not the best picture with Santa anyone's ever taken. There were a few shots where Casey was actually smiling but those were the same ones where Sam was really losing it. So the cashier lady picked this one as a happy medium. I think it's funny. It captures a moment in time of our life for sure.
Casey is pretty excited about Santa this year. He is also excited about getting presents, and snow and sometimes asks "Is it Christmas yet?" and sometimes announces "Mama, its not Christmas yet." When we turn on the tree lights he wants me to count to 3 and then he yells "Happy Christmas everyone!" He is also into this idea of Jesus being born to Mary and Jo-fis with the animals around. It's hard to know what it all means to him, and we are curious to see what he thinks of the Christmas play at church on Christmas Eve and the presents on Christmas Day. It's a great age for Christmas!
