Eleven Months

Casey turned 11 months old yesterday and we got the now required photo. We got a cute 12 opening frame and are working on getting all of these monthly with the bear in the chair photos together - its amazing to see the progression! Anyway, here is number 11 ...


Casey is quite active now, moving all over the place in a variety of ways, pulling up on anything he can find (even the wall)...


...and showing definite opinions about activities and how long they should last. Following him around is like getting a tour of your own house for the first time ... through his eyes. So far he has mostly steered clear of the stairs. When he does get to the edge of them he looks for awhile (with mom hovering near by with one hand ready to grab a leg if he decides to go for it) but then backs himself up - this will probably not last much longer. Last week he discovered the CD racks, so they are all put away now. And today he discovered toilet paper - yeah!





Overall, he is a ton of fun. He loves books and music and watching Obie. He loves the stroller and still lets me put him in the sling. He is taking great daytime naps and sleeping through the night. He is eating better all the time. So, life is good. One more month and we will have a 1 year old - how did that happen?
