Other Summer Happenings

These are all pictures from the iPhone but capture fun moments from the summer so far.

 

Casey's hair is growing out and has spent the summer in an awkward in between phase.  One day he let me spike it up - he loved it!

The boys got Angry Bird tattoos at the Art Fair here in our little town.  It was a nice event and these were a big hit.  They also got them out of taking a bath that night in order to preserve them for another day.

 Jeff and celebrated our 16th anniversary while we were up north - amazing!  Hard to believe it has been 20 years since we met, 18 since our first date.  Here's to 16 more!

Brandon - a very exciting development in our life this summer is a new, GUY babysitter.  Honestly I am not sure who was more excited the first time Brandon came over - the boys or him!  Brandon is 15 and his family is part of our church so we know them/him pretty well.  Our kids love Brandon and his brother Jeffrey.  Brandon is a busy guy but it's been fun to have him here during this slower summer time.  The reports of what they do with Brandon are a riot - they wrestle and play games and watch movies and "mom, he cooks us dinner!"  Jeff caught this shot the other night before they even knew we were home - reading books before bed.
