Happy Valentines Day!

Preschool has brought us lots of firsts and here is one more - the classroom valentines party. "please don't fill in the 'to' part, its confusing enough for them as it is" the teacher advised. Next tip - "Use a yellow marker and write your child's name in the 'from' section, let them practice writing their name 15 times!" WHAT? Is Casey supposed be able to write his name? Could be my first official "My kid is behind everyone in the class" stomach drop. Casey worked with me on "signing" the valentines but lost interest half way through. I was quite relieved when he brought his valentine box home and I could tell that parents had done about 90% of the name writing.

Today, in town grandma Jean brought over chocolate lollipops - Casey ate his in about 4 big bites while Sam took his time, giving the lollipop time to melt all over his face, hands and shirt. Should have had the camera handy for that.
But, here are some pictures of our latest snow fun!

Funny Sam Story - lately Sam is more willing to go to bed if he can take along whatever toy he is currently playing with - so he has slept holding a bear, a doll, a truck, a lego, a book. We don't care. Today though - nap and bed time - he is clutching one of his pairs of shoes. Can't wait to see if he is still holding them when he wakes up in the morning, cause he was still holding them when he got up from his nap. He cracks us up.
New game - try on Mom's shoes! Lately the boys have been getting serious cases of the giggles as they try to walk around the house in my shoes. It is pretty entertaining.
