Well, the family has headed home and Casey enjoyed the company so much that he cried when they left. He stood at the door with the saddest look on his face, which then turned to a sort of disappointed panic as he realized he was once again stuck with just me - boring mom. We had a fun weekend. The Packers won and Casey did great through the whole game (we took 2 cars just in case). Some Lions fans accused us of child abuse because of making Casey wear the cheesehead, but mostly they just wanted to take his picture.
We visited the Cider Mill, fed the ducks, played in the leaves, read many books, and danced to Sweet Caroline MANY MANY times. We put up the Christmas tree so we could celebrate Christmas with this side of the family. So far, Casey is leaving the tree alone, although there are no ornaments on it yet. We may skip ornaments this year to be on the safe side. We shall see.

Dear Anonymous commenters,
The lack of turtle dancing video is not due to a lack of trying on our part. We tried many times, but he gets too interested in the camera to keep dancing. Since about Wednesday he seems to have moved on to other toys, so we will try again when the opportunity presents itself.
