Casey is eight months old - that's 2/3 of a year already! He is growing longer and heavier and out of his clothes but we have no new stats because we have not needed to go the doctor (hip hip! horray!). We'll go at 9 months for a well baby visit and get some numbers to share. He is not growing from eating solids however, this is still not his thing. He has a new trick this week which is going from sitting up to his tummy fairly gracefully. Perhaps crawling is not too far behind but who's rushing that (note to self: make plan for CD racks in family room ASAP).
Casey enjoyed his first Super Bowl, and shared a little sadness with all his Chicago cousins. He even dressed for the game in the shirt they got him - picture below - Attention Wisconsin cousins, you cannot see them but Casey is wearing his Green Bay socks - don't get too worried.
Turns out this kid likes water - in the tub or just helping get ready to do dishes. Loves it!

He is getting so big and remains so cute. I guess he wants us to know he has the "hair" gene that is so lacking in the family tree.
