Oh dear.

Maybe no one even checks in here anymore.  I wouldn't blame you!  Time is just flying by and it seems our blogging has been lost in the shuffle.  I don't want to make a promise I cannot keep, but I do intend to get back to this.
So, its been about 5 months.... what have we been up to....

We cheered for the Badgers through the whole tournament - so fun!

Jeff keeps pretty busy at church.  We have had some staff changes and structure changes that have kept everyone on their toes.  Overall things at the church are good.  We have new visitors regularly and new members regularly and lots of opportunities for people to get involved.
Bridget is working too, part time from home mostly.  This is has really cut into blogging time.  She tries to get her work done while the boys are at school.
Obie and Bruce are both doing fine.  Obie had an eye surgery in March that required a lot of care and recovery but he is doing well.  Bruce is crazy.  He likes to jump fences and meet the neighbors.
So lets get to the reason you have maybe been checking back here - how are the boys???
In short, they are great!
Casey us growing like a weed, almost to moms shoulder now.  He loves to chat with people and tell stores.  He reads like crazy and keeps track of multiple plot lines at a time.  He loves to build with legos and is into Minecraft.  Due to some concern at school, Casey was assessed this spring for ADD.  He was not diagnosed with anything.  His handwriting is pretty rough and he can be a bit spacey, but the doctor did not find him diagnosable which was fine with us.
Casey played another season of basketball and again liked it very much despite being on a terrible team.  He also took part in a 6 week 3rd grade soccer league at school which he loved and was pretty good at.  He scored goals in every game!  Casey is also getting to be a better swimmer all the time.
Sam's legs keep growing, making him taller and skinnier all the time.  He continues to thrive in school, maintaining his spot at the top of the class.  He can read very well, but does not chose it much.  He loves music, especially drums and the piano.  May be time for some lessons.  Sam keeps us laughing with his remarkable comedic timing and funny voices.  Sam loves words - he loves to talk about words, how they sound, making plays on words.  Its an interesting little thing about him that we find delightful.
Gymnastics is still his thing - he enjoys going once a week.  He also like swimming once a week.  I can see both boys pursuing swimming - they really like it.  Sam participated in the running club this spring with Casey and they both completed the Martian Marathon - that was a fun day.
So, now I am going to go back and post some pictures, by month to feel up to date.  You'll know that I posted them all today, but thats ok :)
