This was the first time in a few years that I did not run in an event in the Detroit Marathon. But some friends did so I opted to take my turn as the sideline cheerer and finish line bag carrier. The boys came along and cheered for all the runners. I knew 5 people running the half marathon and got to see them all go by - so fun!!
