Thanksgiving

We traveled to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving for the first time in 15 years this year.  Thanksgiving weekend was not the beginning of Advent and it was my parent's 40th Anniversary so it was the perfect time to go.  Our plans took many turns - we were going to be in Madison and then the Rhinelander family was going to come down too.  In September my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.  He had thought he would put the surgery off until after the holidays but it was looming and he decided to take an earlier date which turned out to be November 20.  Luckily we are all flexible people and we rearranged things.  We spent Thanksgiving in Rhinelander and then visited my family briefly on our way back home.  We still got to see everyone and my dad is doing well.  The boys traveled incredibly well and we all had a lot of fun.  We didn't take any pictures in Madison somehow, but here are few of the time in Rhinelander....
