Getting ready for Easter

Playground crew ready for spring break!
It's almost Easter!  We had church (and TBall) on Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday our church hosted a community Easter Egg Hunt and it was amazing!  We had 130 kids and their families come for the egg hunt!  After all the eggs were found we invited everyone in for lunch and the youth group helped with crafts.  It was a really fun event.  Wiped out all 4 of us - let's just say quiet time was very quiet that afternoon.  But it was over quick as we had shopping to do and Easter baskets to fill and Jeff had an Easter sermon to write.  Whew!  We are so fortunate to have such fun and meaningful ways to spend our time.  And to have comfortable beds to collapse into afterward :)

Just one shot of the egg hunt crowd - so fun!

Egg coloring time
This is the best shot of Sam's shiner - received from a head to head collision with his big brother.  They hit heads so hard, everyone heard it.  Casey got up and walked away, Sam was a puddle of tears for awhile.  He cried so hard he threw up - all over himself and me who was holding him.  Better me than the sanctuary floor!  He and I had a smelly ride home.  Our clothes are clean but the bruises are still going through their various shades of blue purple and yellow.
Casey did all his every color, which means "grey"
