Show me the cache!

Casey's first find!

We have started Geo Caching!  Anyone else ever try it?  It's fun.  There are literally millions of little caches (treasures we call them) hidden all over the world.  You sign up online and then use your car GPS device on the Coordinates settings to find them.  We put in our address and there were some we could walk to from our house.  We have not been completely successful - there have been some where the GPS says we are there but we just cannot find anything.  But we are going to keep trying.  The caches are some kind of container with a small toy or trinket - you take whatever it is and leave something else behind.  So far we have found play dough, silly bands and stickers.  We have one we have to go back for - the GPS directed us down a ravine and with all the rain we had had it was really muddy and buggy.  Sam and I elected to stay at the top.  Jeff and Casey both fell getting down there and the bugs were so bad they decided to head back up.  Then for a minute we weren't sure we were going to get Casey back up.  High adventure!  But we will try again on a less muddy day!  We are hoping to do more of it this summer - its free so its in the budget :)  You can even do it when you are on vacation as long as you know your zip code.  Should be fun!
