Shortly after Christmas Day, Casey started letting us know about the gifts he wanted next Christmas. He is definitely sold on Christmas! We explained that Christmas is awhile away now but he has a birthday between now and then where he could ask for something. This lead to a discussion of the kind of party he wants to have "tomorrow" for his birthday. Jeff suggested we could have the kids that come to his party bring something we could give away to kids that don't get a birthday party. "It would be a Jesus birthday party", he told Casey. "Well", Casey says thoughtfully, "I think I'll go with the dinosaur party."

| It remains to be seen whether we will have a football fan for a kid or not. It's a "special night" when we get to eat dinner near the TV and we did that to watch the Rose Bowl. The boys grew tired of that quickly so they petitioned for the iPod to watch their own show. Pretty funny. |
