Lightfest

In our area there is a 5 miles stretch of road that gets decorated for Christmas - some crazy number of millions of lights.  You pay to drive through it and it is pretty cool.  On the night before they open it for the cars, you can bike it and on the night before that, you can run it.  So me and my friend Mary T did.  Never mind that it was raining the whole time, pouring for some of it, that both of our husbands were otherwise occupied, that the sitters we had were not bringing the kids over to the finish because of the weather.  About halfway through we realized that we could have just gone to dinner.  But we ran it instead.  Can't think of a time I was that wet.  But it felt great!
