Jeff always says that some day being the Pastor's kid might be a bummer but in the mean time, our kids don't even know how lucky they are that people think of them for awesome hand-me-downs! We have received so many great toys, Casey's bed, bikes, clothes, and this weekend a battery powered John Deere truck. To say the boys love it is such an understatement. It's really fun! Casey does all the driving, and is learning its hard to do other things while driving. They rode it to the party store but then Casey had a tough time eating his snack and driving. It was a nice opportunity for the life lesson of putting an entire cracker in your mouth and chewing longer instead of taking small bites :) The person that passed it on to us told Casey there were 2 rules - no going into the street and no running over your brother. "Oh, OK" he said casually. He has been great about the street but did take one good run at Sam at one point. He remembered the rules though and then yelled at Sam to get out of the way!
