One of the most fun things we do with the youth group is go on the summer mission trip - this year it was to Kentucky and since I am acting as the youth leader and Jeff is the pastor, we both wanted to be able to go. But it isn't the best trip for the little guys. Grammy, Boppa and Grandpa to the rescue!! Our 3 parents arrived to hang out with the kiddos, got a crash course in kitchen cabinets, deciphering Sam's words and bed time routines and we were off. All reports indicate that everyone had a great week - the boys are still talking about the fun they had, and our parents are back home and hopefully feeling rested again. We are grateful it all worked out so well. We missed the boys terribly, had a great trip and a great reunion when we returned!
