Holy Week is a busy time for the Preachers kids, with a couple different trips to church and the nursery. Casey and Sam were both troopers and took it all in stride. On Saturday we decorated eggs, and they turned out pretty pathetic! But Casey enjoyed plopping them in and pulling them out so it was still fun.
Yesterday we "hid" plastic eggs around the yard for Casey to find. They had candy or little toys in them and once he figured out what was going on, he got pretty excited about it. It was fun for all of us. One rookie mistake was putting chocolate candy in an egg in one of the sunny spots, but we'll do better next year.
OK so the eggs were pretty ugly and the chocolate melted but we still had a nice weekend. We got to see good friends and participate in lots of good church. And the Tigers won a few games which bodes well for the rest of spring.
We have the wagon out a lot these days so that Sam can be part of the action ... sometimes Casey prefers to ride along with him.

We weren't brave enough to let Will dunk the eggs, maybe next year. Also, does that pig happen to sing Old McDonald?? :)
