Updates and Another Casey Cast

Jeff and Casey are back in the Casey Cast business. Enjoy!



In other news, Sam has started attempting the sitting-up-to-tummy move and he is already pretty good at it! Once he is on his tummy, I have been placing much wanted items (usually a pacifier or the smiling baby face book) just out of reach to see if he might muster up a scooch. Not yet. His rolling back and forth is really helping him to cover some ground though. His waving just gets cuter and he is a total flirt, smiling and gurgling at anyone who notices him.

A little update on "quiet time". Casey has for the last two days, fallen sound aslseep on the floor. He moves his pillow, brings his blankets and his blankie and conks out. Yesterday he was right between his bed and the toy box, and today he is at the foot of his bed. It's a little odd, but we'll take it. He is so much more pleasant with a little rest.

Vocab Diaries:
When Jeff gets ready to go, Casey will say a variety of things "Daddy goin' to church?" "Daddy has to go to work?" or "Daddy goin to meeting?" The other night he was missing Jeff and pouted "mama I wanna go to meeting too". Anyway, awhile back, Jeff was headed out to visit someone. He had recently done a sermon on the lost sheep, so when Casey asked the usual questions about where he was going, Jeff said he was going to see about a lost sheep. So now, when Jeff leaves, Casey says "Daddy, you goin' to see the lost sheep?" Jeff says "yep" and Casey says "baaaaa".
