A Brief Report

At Sam's one month appointment today he was 24 inches tall and 13 pounds 7 ounces. His head is still big :)
Sam has had more awake time lately which is nice. He seems to have a nice disposition as long as he is fed and rested. So he will fit in fine here. He is still waking up every few hours in the night - I keep hoping he will skip a feeding some night and surprise me but not yet. He goes right back to sleep most of the time though so at least we have that going for us.
Casey continues to be a text book 2 year old - switching between delightful and inconsolable at whim.
Now for the first installment of the Vocab Diaries:
At breakfast on Thursday at our Thursday breakfast place, we took two cars so Jeff could go to a meeting after. I arrived with the boys and April and Vince who were visiting us, and Jeff came a few minutes later. When he walked in, Casey stood up and exclaimed "HI JEFF!" He loves learning people's names and saying hello to them constantly, we just didn't know he would be referring to his dad by his first name so soon.
