We had just started to notice that Casey has not gotten attached to any one item, at least not for more than an evening. But we now have 2 contenders - a red blanket that he cannot sleep without the last five days (in fact, he awoke crying at 6:30 this morning and I am pretty sure it was because he had lost track of the blanket - it was under him, and showing him that was all he needed to go back to sleep) and the one stuffed animal in this house that was not purchased for him. Last week he discovered the teddy bear that has been on my night stand his whole life (and about 11 years before that) and has claimed it as his own. Today he could not even begin to eat breakfast without that bear being right there. I am just amazed we got out the door to day care without it.

Speaking of breakfast, let's talk about quantity. Today, like most days, Casey had a good sized scambled egg, a blueberry cereal bar, a handful of cheerios and half a banana for breakfast. And he still loks at me like, "What else you got?" I thought it wasn't until high school that boys eat you out of house and home. Yikes.
Today is Casey's 17 month birthday, and we also want to wish a belated birthday to Grandpa and Vince and tell Grandma that we hope her knee heals up quickly and painlessly :) Have a great day everyone!
