Last Sunday was the first one where we hung around awhile afterward since he has been walking. He took off right up to the front of the church and climbed right into the pulpit - he looks good. And he sounded good - the mics were still on and he was babbling away. Thanks to Diane for holding him up :) No pressure, son of a preacher man, no pressure.


I don't think I have mentioned our transition to one nap a day. Since we have been home from Ghana, I started recording what felt like eratic daytime sleeping, and after 10 days of that, noticed that regardless of what time he slept or how long he slept at a given time, Casey was sleeping almost exactly 2 hours a day. This, we thought, can happen all at once. So we have moved to a 2 hour afternoon nap. Helping to make this possible is a 20 minute Sesame Street and sippy cup break at about 11 (thank you On Demand Sesame Street!) where Casey doesn't fall asleep but chills waaaaay out. Most days this is followed by more playtime and then lunch before the nap. Sometimes lunch sort of runs right into the nap- like today.
