Casey is 9!

Holy cats!  Casey is 9 years old!  Half way to 18 and (hopefully) high school graduation.  I feel like in the next nine years we spend less time, but more money, on him than we did in the first nine :)
Casey is growing up fast, he has become quite the conversationalist.  He likes to chat on the phone and I think he is quite thoughtful about asking people how they are doing and what they have been up to.  Casey is getting good grades and we hear almost all good things from school.  He makes friends quickly and with a wide range of kids.  He is competitive, imaginative and affectionate.  He is hard working and good at following directions and creative.
Overall, Casey is really fun to be with.  unless you want him out of bed for any reason at a time he wishes to stay in the bed, he is pleasant and easy to take anywhere.
Recently, Jeff found this quiz on Facebook that you were supposed to ask your kids - it was all questions about their mom.  I was sitting there and Jeff proceeded to ask Casey questions like "What does your mom do when she isn't with you?"  "What does your mom like to do?"  "What does your mom hate to do?"  I think its safe to say that, for better or worse, Casey has a very healthy self esteem.  Every answer about me was actually about him.  "She misses me", "Hang out with me", "Be without me" were his answers to the those three questions.  And it just went on and on.  It was so funny!
