Casey is loving basketball - his teams first game was a rough go. The other team was a bit more organized and had some really good shooters. Casey's team lost. By a lot. But he had a good time. He was good on defense, staying with his man, hustling back and not hesitating at all to be right in the mix under the basket or wherever else.
Perhaps the most exciting thing that has happened yet - the shoes!
I thought they were getting tshirts, so I wasn't worried about the green tie-dyed shirt. They did not get tshirts, they got these mesh tank tops, so Casey got to sport a cool (not) look. Way to go mom!
We are so glad Casey is on the same team as his pal Eason who is a 4th grader, but so kind to Casey.
