On the day after Christmas my family set out to come visit us, but were held up by snow storms all over Michigan. So they spent a night part way and got here on Thursday. We opened gifts with them and enjoyed books and games and even a trip to Build a Bear Workshop. The boys always enjoy their cousin Amalia, and we even got to swim at Grammy and Boppa's hotel. A definite highlight was when Casey opened the second Harry Potter book from my parents -he went nuts! He was SO happy to have one "all his own that he doesn't have to take back". My mom says that Casey and Sam are so much fun to give presents to.

Because we knew they would be here, my family was also lucky recipients of gifts from the Santa Shop at Casey's school. Casey gave my dad a #1 Grandpa money clip like the one Jeff got. On the night before they were heading home, my dad said to Casey "My favorite Christmas present this year was to spend time with you!" Casey says "Yeah, and the money clip right?" :)
