Anyway, it rolls out as part of the sentence, no breaks.
So a few days ago, he says out of nowhere -
"Jesus died on the cross, right mom?"
"Right" I say.
"But he isn't there anymore, right mom?"
"Right" I say.
"Can I play a game on the iPod?"
And that was the end of that theological exploration.
The other day at breakfast, Casey was asking me about God.
"Is there really only one God mom? Just ONE for all these people?"
"Yep, that's what we believe. One God for everyone" I say
"Huh. OK" he says
Sam: "Yeah, but there's a lot of Jesus' right mom? One in everyone's heart, right mom?"
This one took a little more explaining.
Why cant they ask their theologically educated father these questions?
