After the game, its Casey who talks about "practicing my basketball moves" and wanting to go to basketball camp. Both boys got a new Pistons shirt with some Christmas money and a great sale, which they both wanted to sleep in when they got home. Thanks to our friend John who helps us get tickets!

DEEEE- TROIT BASKETBALL
The four of us ventured out to The Palace last night to watch the Pistons take on the Celtics -did you know Shaq is a Celtic? We didn't. Anyway, Jeff had taken the boys to a game awhile back and they were there in time for introductions which are apparently fairly intense - all the lights out - fire/explosions very close to where they were sitting. When we told the boys we were going to the basketball game, they both started talking about not liking the fire. So we got there a little late to avoid further fire trauma.

The boys are very different at these events. Sam actually watches the game - he claps at the right times and shouts out random things and dances to every beat he hears. Casey opted to use my coat as a snuggie and "just rest" mostly. Every time there was a big cheer, he would pop up and ask if it they won now. Meaning, we think, can we go now :) Since we had been late, we decided to stay until the end despite the full house and our horrible back corner parking spot. Which was awesome because the Pistons won!! Our strategy was to wait everyone out. We took our time leaving our seats, shopped in the stores, danced in the lobby a bit, and by the time we left we cruised right out of the lot with no problem.
