Sam's vocabulary is really expanding by the day at this point. Lately, whenever Casey is doing something, eating something, moving toward something, asking for something, the next sound you hear is "TOO! TOO!" from little brother. The actual words for the request are still beyond him at times, but just a "TOO!" gets the message across. Each day, there are new attempts at new words, and Sam is delighted when you understand him. He and Casey are having more back dn forth conversation as well which is pretty hilarious to overhear. Casey asks Sam funny questions like "Sam, do you want to help make this car disappear?" "YAY!" Sam says. Or, "Sammy, we going home for quiet time" "NO!" "But Sammy, you need your rest" "NO!" "Sam, are you getting cranky?" "NO!" Casey is really into his letters and numbers these days and when he is counting aloud near Sam and he gets to 6, Sam will pipe in "7,8,9" We have no idea how he learned these since he doesn't seem to know any others yet. We'll get the rest filled in soon enough.
We had a nice trip to Wisconsin and Chicago last week - a nice change of pace. The boys enjoyed seeing all the grandparents and cousins as well as other family and friends. Our trip ended in Chicago for our Godson's baptism, a rare Sunday in another church. We were so glad to be there!
Holy Week is upon us and we wish you all a wonderful Easter!
