This was the scene at the back door after an hour of good old fashioned winter fun. "Everything wet must stay right here!" We got everyone bundled up and went out and played in the 8 inches of snow we got today.
My mom's cousin Ellen gave us this snow tube at a shower for Casey when he was about 7 months old. This was very forward thinking of her! Luckily we remembered where it was because this thing is awesome!
The snow tube combined with a few of Obie's leashes made for a great sled. It was so light to pull as it just glided over the snow. We took the boys around the block and they were loving every minute.
Casey went sledding for the first time as we pushed him down a very little hill in the tube. He loved it! "Do it again?" And we did. Until both mom and dad were out of breath from pulling him back up the afore mentioned "little" hill. Some crying. Promises for tomorrow - hopefully our backs won't be too sore :)

the snow tube does look awesome - and it looks like there might just be room for one more little cousin on there. amalia will bring her snowsuit when she comes to visit!!
