The best part about actually purchasing a membership to the zoo is that when you go you don't feel obligated to see every animal or spend all day. You know you will be back, so there is no pressure to do it all. We almost always visit the polar bears, as seen in previous posts, and this time we made our way to the giraffe as well as the awesome play structure. It was a beautiful fall morning and we had a great time.
At the playground: This boy loves to climb ... anything. We will have to try to get some video of him climbing onto the coffee table only to dismount on the other side, as if this is easier than just walking around it.

No trip to the zoo is complete without a stash of graham crackers

Casey seems to have a nice balance of courage, confidence and caution. He is quite willing to try new and even difficult things, but so far he seems to take his time and figure things out. Here is an example:
It would be great if he stayed that way - time will tell.
In other news, its Rummage Sale week at our church which is always a good time. I spent some time today in the little boys clothes area and got a whole bag of stuff for $8.00! Some of it will not fit for awhile, but they are like new and will fit soon enough. Yeah!
